Use this pre-launch quality check to catch issues that can make a finished website confusing or difficult to use. It focuses on what to inspect, rather than specific editor controls.
Read every page as a visitor
Check that each page answers its main question and has a clear next step. Read headings and paragraphs in order; remove repeated ideas, unfinished sample copy, and details that do not support the page’s goal.
Verify names, dates, contact information, prices, and claims against the current source of truth. Check spelling and consistency in product names and brand language.
Check the experience on small and large screens
Review pages on a phone-sized screen as well as a larger display. Look for hard-to-read text, awkward image crops, excessive scrolling through repeated content, and actions that are difficult to reach.
Do not stop at checking whether the layout fits. Make sure visitors can still scan the page, understand its hierarchy, and use its links comfortably.
Test interactions and search details
Open every menu item, button, and text link. Check forms, email and phone links, and any external destinations. Confirm there are no unfinished or incorrect URLs.
Review page titles, meta descriptions, image descriptions, and sharing previews. See the website SEO checklist for a fuller on-page review. Make sure each page describes its own subject accurately and that social images load from the published URLs.
Record issues, fix them, and check again
Keep a short punch list while reviewing. Fix the highest-impact issues first—incorrect information, broken paths, unreadable content, and missing pages—then repeat the checks on the affected screens.
When ready, export the website from Wio and publish it with your selected host. Visit the live site after publishing and confirm that the public version matches the reviewed version.
