Effective Date: July 19, 2026
Welcome to Wio.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Wio, including the Wio website, application, visual editor, subscription services, marketplace, and related services.
By creating an account, accessing, or using Wio, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use Wio.
Wio is a software platform for creating websites and digital experiences through a visual editor.
Wio provides its services online and may offer different subscription plans, features, digital products, templates, assets, components, tools, and other resources.
You must be legally permitted to use the Wio services in your jurisdiction.
If you use Wio on behalf of a business or other organization, you represent that you have the authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.
Certain Wio features require an account.
You are responsible for:
You must not share, sell, transfer, or otherwise misuse your Wio account in violation of these Terms.
Some Wio features and services require a paid subscription.
Subscription plans, pricing, included features, and billing periods are displayed on the Wio website or during the applicable purchase process.
By purchasing a subscription, you authorize the applicable payment provider to process the charges associated with your selected plan.
Your subscription will remain active according to the applicable billing period unless cancelled or otherwise terminated.
Payments for Wio subscriptions and other paid Wio products may be processed by third-party payment providers, including Creem.
The payment provider may collect and process payment information necessary to complete the transaction.
By purchasing a paid Wio service, you agree to the applicable payment provider's terms and policies in addition to these Terms.
Where a subscription is offered on an automatically renewing basis, the subscription will renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the next renewal.
The applicable price and billing period will be presented before or during purchase.
If a payment cannot be successfully processed, access to paid features may be restricted, suspended, or terminated in accordance with the applicable subscription and payment rules.
You may cancel an eligible Wio subscription through the cancellation mechanism provided by Wio or through the applicable customer billing portal.
Cancellation normally prevents future renewals and does not necessarily provide a refund for the unused portion of the current billing period unless a refund is required by applicable law or otherwise expressly offered by Wio.
Additional cancellation or refund terms may be displayed during purchase.
Refund eligibility may depend on the applicable product, subscription, purchase terms, and applicable law.
Where payment processing is handled by Creem or another payment provider, refunds may be processed through that provider.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
Wio may provide a marketplace containing digital products and resources such as templates, assets, sections, components, plugins, tools, and other Wio products.
For the current version of the Wio Marketplace:
Wio may change the structure and functionality of the marketplace as the service develops.
Any future third-party creator or seller program may be governed by separate terms.
You retain ownership of content that you create using Wio, subject to any third-party rights applicable to that content.
You grant Wio the limited rights reasonably necessary to store, process, display, transmit, and otherwise provide your content as part of operating the Wio services.
You are responsible for the content you create, upload, publish, or distribute using Wio.
You must have the necessary rights, licenses, and permissions for content that you use through the platform.
Wio and its licensors retain all rights to the Wio platform, software, branding, logos, interface designs, documentation, and other materials provided by Wio, except for content owned by users or third parties.
Your use of Wio does not transfer ownership of Wio's intellectual property to you.
You may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, resell, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit Wio's proprietary software or materials except as expressly permitted by Wio or applicable law.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, purchasing a Wio digital product grants you a license to use that product in accordance with the applicable product terms and these Terms.
A purchase does not transfer ownership of Wio's underlying intellectual property.
You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, or make Wio-owned marketplace products available as standalone downloadable products for others unless expressly permitted.
You agree not to use Wio to:
We may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe an account is being used in violation of these Terms or presents a security, legal, or operational risk.
We aim to keep Wio available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
Wio may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, technical problems, security events, infrastructure failures, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Wio is an evolving platform.
We may modify, add, remove, or update features, functionality, plans, products, or other parts of the service.
Where appropriate, we may provide notice of material changes.
We may suspend or terminate an account if:
You may stop using Wio at any time.
Termination does not eliminate obligations or rights that by their nature should continue after termination.
Wio may integrate with or rely on third-party services to provide certain functionality.
Third-party services may have their own terms, policies, limitations, and availability requirements.
Wio is not responsible for independent third-party services outside Wio's reasonable control.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Wio is provided on an "as available" and "as is" basis.
We do not guarantee that Wio will meet every particular requirement, operate without interruption, or be completely free from errors.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any consumer or other legal rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Wio and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of Wio.
To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful use of Wio, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person's rights.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Wio and its operation, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Any dispute will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the jurisdiction legally applicable to the parties.
We may update these Terms from time to time.
When material changes are made, we may update the Effective Date and provide additional notice where appropriate.
Your continued use of Wio after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.
